We flew to Ireland from Edinburgh. We arrived on a cold rainy afternoon. We always spoke about visiting Ireland for a long time and always had a picturesque image in mind. We always imagined green hills, enormous castles, peaceful valleys and plenty of wonderful national parks. And this is what I found. This country, rich in greenery, needs no introduction. It is well known for its wide stretches of green fields, in fact its nickname is the Emerald Isle. But that’s not all, Ireland boasts large areas of rocky landscapes. It is not the biggest country in the world, but it has a startling reputation. The astonishing views, super friendly locals and fascinating landscapes are some of the factors that make Ireland a popular tourist destination. Everything positive you heard about Ireland is probably true. Year after year, Ireland is voted as one of the Top 10 cities in the…

Step into the most luxurious property in Naxxar when you visit Palazzo Parisio. Everything about this place just screams gorgeous. I heard so many good things about this place that one fine Saturday afternoon me and Sebastian decided to give it a go and since then we never looked back. We take every opportunity we can to go as they serve breakfast, brunch, lunches, afternoon teas and of course dinner. Despite going there several times, every time it feels like a special occasion. Peaceful yet animated, is how I would choose to describe one of favourite spots on the island. To describe the place as exceptional is probably an understatement. Here you can sit back, relax and indulge in mouthwatering food and fabulous cocktails whilst being surrounded by a striking garden. This place is just WOW! It sure feels like being abroad when entering the gardens. As soon as you…

Fat Louie’s is the kind of place that you arrive hungry and leave happy. It is also the kind of place where you roll- up your sleeves and get messy while indulging in heavenly food. Situated in the heart of Paceville, next to the sister outlet NYB, Fat Louie is equally successful. The restaurant has a small outdoor patio and indoor eating space. The space is  ideal to sit for long and chat over food and drinks without having to worry about eating quickly and moving out. The restaurant is innovative for various reasons but the most obvious is the cooking techniques, there is nothing similar elsewhere on the island. Fat Louie is a smokehouse, it means that the meat is cured with smoke for hours to produce a tender and juicy product. Fat Louie is the brainchild of two young yet extremely successful in the food industry. The focus…

Edinburgh is often voted as the most popular UK city in which to live or visit, and rightly so.The Scottish Capital might be best known for its lively festivals in August and beautiful nature, but it has something to offer at any time of the year. There is literally something for everyone, including the most discerning traveler. I once read an article that described Edinburgh as the city that begs to be discovered, and I couldn’t agree more. The cobbled streets, the Gothic buildings and narrow alleys tempt you to explore a little bit further. But Edinburgh is not only about history and architecture, the city offers great food and drink, loads of shopping centers and some exciting ghost stories. With a variety of festivals, interesting history and rich history, there is no shortage of things to do in Edinburgh. Read on if you would like to learn more about…

Budapest is a city I fallen in love with after visiting last year. If I have to be completely honest, Budapest was never on top of my bucket list, mainly because I didn’t know much about what the city has to offer. But after visiting, I wholeheartedly recommend it, as it is an astounding destination. With stunning architecture, amazing thermal baths, breathtaking views, and a distinguished culture, Budapest definitely lives up to its stellar reputation. Hungary’s capital city seems to be forgotten by many tourists and much of Europe overlooks it as a tourist destination. Its part of Eastern Europe so people have a lot of misconceptions about it and what it offers. It is the ideal tourist destination for all those people wanting to go somewhere off the beaten track. What I liked the most about Budapest is the extravagant architecture, the spectacular views from Gellert Hill and the…
