You get what you pay for right? Capo Crudo, is definitely not the cheapest on the island but offers absolutely perfect food, service and atmosphere.
This outstanding restaurant hasn’t been around for a long time, but in a few months it managed to build a stellar reputation. Capo Crudo offers a brilliant dining experience to all those who visit. Offering fresh fish and seafood with unmissable views across Marsamxett harbour. Featuring bright lights and prominent sign you will have no trouble finding your way to this restaurant. The location is perched on the sea looking at Sliema and it has a retractable roof making it ideal for romantic dinner nights or celebrating special occasions.
In Malta we have an abundance of fresh produce and fresh fish and are spoiled with a wide selection of foods from neighbouring countries. The kitchen at Capo Crudo is founded on these traditions and brings you the best that the region can offer.
Yesterday we went to Capo Crudo to celebrate my friend’s birthday and we couldn’t have made a better choice. The setting is jaw- dropping, the menu is exquisitely well planned, the food is tasty and the service is top- notch.
The food, presented with real artistry, is Mediterranean in origin but often has a modern twist, and in my opinion, is attractive, fresh, delicious and interesting. The staff is well trained, very courteous and professional. Reservations in advance are a must!
The chef served us amuse- bouche and freshly baked bread while we waited for our food. The menu was explained to us in detail. As starter I opted for the Funghi Risotto followed by the herb crusted veal cutlet. Despite being very full I couldn’t resist the delicious Cannoli.
This was my first time at Capo Crudo and will surely take every opportunity to return. Everything was good from start to finish.
